The Tarot is my chosen tool, a way to connect with my intuition and subconscious, to bridge the gap between the known and the unknown. Reading The Tarot hones the instincts and sharpens the sixth sense for both the reader and for the Questioner. It constantly surprises, shocks and delights and continues to do so even after so ,so many years.
My Story
I have a love of The Tarot which spans more than 5 decades of discovery and practice, when I am indecisive or face a watershed in my life I turn to my treasured Tarot de Marseilles for guidance ( my first deck of Tarot cards I found on a rainy day at a bus stop in northern England, my 14th birthday to be exact and over 50 years ago…but that’s a story for later on….)
so, why a website and why now ?
Well, firstly I am not a traditional Tarot card reader, I am not an advocate of the gypsy fortune teller aspect I prefer a more down to earth approach.
I am a logical grounded, educated woman, who after 52 years of reading the Tarot has come to believe sincerely that there is “something in it”, a phrase I have heard so many times and still rings true. What that ‘something is, I don’t profess to know for certain, no one can, but I have my own theories and learn more every day.
Secondly, I love the ‘digital age’ we are in,so easy to communicate and share, What better time!
So here I go, I’m online and loving it!
So, what do I mean by my untraditional way of reading ?
I have developed my own personal style over the years, if I read your cards don’t expect tall dark strangers or mysterious inheritances from me! It’s down to earth Tarot, I read what I see.
I need to see the person I am reading for, random computer generated spreads certainly exist all over the internet, and I have consulted them myself ,but for me I need that personal touch of being able to connect with my questioner face to face.
What to expect from a reading?
When I read for you, I use my Marseilles Tarot,
the first reading places you and what’s around you in temporal, emotional and physical context for me, A story I can ‘see’ giving you an overview of your situation and throwing light on your present circumstances, past influences and what you may face in the future
I read honestly with no frills bells or whistles and use my version of a simple Celtic cross spread, online as this is familiar and easy enough for the Questioner to remember.

when we start I will ask you to think of your situation, what most concerns you ,what you need from the reading ,or, you can ask a question, in your head or out loud ,or simply just concentrate on how you feel at the moment of the reading. I’ll talk you through it, the cards will do the rest.
